Books delivered to your door!


Books-By-Mail is a unique, free service to residents of Escambia County, Alabama. Registration is available online or by contacting us. Patrons can request books using our virtual catalog and/or receive a printed catalog and order card. Books are returned or renewed monthly in a postage prepaid mailer. No late fees are charged.

Audiobooks, music, & more!

 

The Escambia County Cooperative Library System has expanded its services with audiobooks, eBooks, music, and video now available for download!


Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting this website and clicking on the Overdrive link on our home page. Users may browse the library's website, check out with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac, Nook, Kindle, iPad, iPod, and many other mobile devices. For those using devices other than Kindle, it will be necessary to install free software--Overdrive Media Console for audiobooks and music and Adobe Digital Editions for eBooks. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices. Some audio titles can be burned to a CD to listen to on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the two-week lending period. There are no late fees! 


Users are required to obtain an Escambia County Library System card prior to signing in to Camellia Net. Cards are available at Atmore, Brewton, and Flomaton Public Libraries, or by contacting Escambia County Cooperative Library System at (251) 368-4130 or escolib@frontiernet.net
